One such celebrity couple is Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The power couple has been vocal about their decision to homeschool their two children, Jaden and Willow. They believe that traditional schooling can be limiting and prefer a more creative approach to learning. In an interview with CNN, Jada said, “We feel like we have to create a curriculum that will cultivate our children’s minds.”

Even former president Barack Obama has spoken out about his preference for non-traditional forms of education. He once praised Montessori schools for promoting independent thinking skills in students.

These celebrity parents aren’t alone in seeking out alternative forms of education for their children either; many families across the United States are turning towards homeschooling or unschooling as well.
